My daughter loves to draw so I decided to make with her a little notebook for her doodling. This is an inexpensive and fun project that can be done partly by a small kid – with a grown up’s help of course ;)
For the cover you can use fabric or paper – in my case I used fabric because I have a lot and it also lasts longer. So you’ll need:
Fabric or paper for the cover + paper to cut out the name + A4 size paper for the inside (about 12 sheets folded in half) + a few ribbons + wool to make a pom pom (because we love pom pon’s) + fabric ink or any other you have + brush + scissors + pencil
1. Let your kid draw their name in paper and then cut it out
2. Cut the paper or fabric for the cover
3. Put the paper cutout letters on top of the fabric and paint each letter (we added also little triangles and a stripped pattern in the back of the cover). Let it dry
4. I sew a blue patterned fabric in the other side of the painted fabric and finished it up with a bias tape all around – there you have your cover!
5. Stich or staple the cover to the inside sheets and sew the pom pom
Draw a lot!

A minha filha adora desenhar – e agora também fazer letras ;) por isso decidimos fazer um bloco para os rabiscos dela. Este é um projecto pouco dispendioso, simples e divertido que pode ser feito com uma criança pequena.
Para a capa pode usar tecido ou papel – no meu caso usei tecido, porque tenho muito, claro, e também porque torna a capa mais resistente. Portanto, irá precisar:
Tecido ou papel para a capa + papel de tamanho A4 para o interior (cerca de 12 folhas dobradas ao meio) + algumas fitas + lã para fazer um pompom (porque adoramos pompons) + tinta de tecido ou qualquer outra que tenha + pincel + tesoura + lápis
1. Deixe o seu filho desenhar o nome no papel e depois corte-o
2. Corte o papel ou tecido para a capa
3. Coloque as letras recortadas em papel na parte superior do tecido e pinte cada letra (nós também pintámos pequenos triângulos e umas riscas na parte de trás). Deixe secar
4. Eu cosi um tecido estampado azul no outro lado do tecido pintado e terminei com uma fita de viés a contornar – a capa está pronta!
5. Depois é só unir tudo cosendo ou com agrafos (e dar uns pontinhos para prender o pompom)
De seguida, desenhar muito e muito!…
