There’s something about watercolor that feels like a promise. The way pigment blooms across the paper, how colors sometimes meet by accident – it’s hopeful and never fully controlled. That’s exactly the energy I want to carry into 2026!
Cats already symbolize independence and intuition and blue is the color of reflection and depth. It speaks to late nights thinking about what worked, what didn’t and what I will be trying again.
So here’s to the new year – may it flow like watercolor and may we move through it with the calm confidence of a blue cat, leaving gentle, luminous traces wherever we land.
